sfetch (suckless fetch)

a suckless-adjacent fetching program I wrote to improve at C.

just like suckless.org's projects (dwm, st, surf, etc...), sfetch is configured via editing the source code.

installation

first:

make sure you have the dependencies required:

1. a compiler (gcc, clang)
2. a c lib (glibc, musl, etc...)

second:

git clone https://codeberg.org/theidioticdev/sfetch
cd sfetch
gcc bs.c -o build
sudo/doas ./build --install # to install system-wide, tweak bs.c and recompile it if u want to install to .local/bin
./build # to build only
sudo/doas ./build --uninstall # uninstall it

note: if you use gentoo, you can do this instead:

# you must have eselect-repository package
eselect repository add acooliodude-overlay git https://codeberg.org/ACoolioDude/acooliodude-overlay
emerge --sync acooliodude-overlay | emiant sync -r acooliodude-overlay
emerge --ask sfetch
